Nesta segunda-feira (30) a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (SES) por meio da Diretoria de Vigilância em Saúde (DVS), divulgou através de boletim, o cenário epidemiológico das arboviroses causadas pelo Aedes aegypti no estado. Lagarto figura em segundo lugar entre os municípios com mais caso, à frente inclusive da capital Aracaju.
O documento mostra que, de 29 de dezembro de 2019 a 21 de março de 2020, foram notificados 459 casos suspeitos de dengue, 73 confirmados, 209 descartados e 177 em investigação Também foram notificados no mesmo período, 48 casos suspeitos de chikungunya com 18 confirmações sendo 13 descartados e 17 em investigação. Em relação à zika, 6 casos foram notificados e não há confirmação.
Segundo os resultados apresentados no boletim, em 2020 a dengue teve aumento de 93,67% nos casos notificados, em relação à mesma época em 2019. Chama a atenção o incremento nos casos prováveis sinalizando que muitos estão em investigação ou sem encerramento oportuno. Os dados referentes à chikungunya, comparados ao ano anterior chegaram a 9,3% de aumento. Já a zika apresentou um cenário de baixa ocorrência, -63,1%.
O boletim ainda traz os municípios com casos confirmados: Nossa Senhora do Socorro possui 24 casos, Lagarto 14 casos e Aracaju com 13. Sendo estes, com maior número de casos.
