Está causando espanto a compra de cestas básicas pela Prefeitura de Lagarto, que vai gastar mais de R$ 1 milhão para contratar uma empresa para fornecer cestas básicas com menos de dez itens para a população. A Prefeita Hilda Ribeiro não deve ter se atentado ao fato do kit não ter nem biscoito de sal, mas vai custar R$ 47 cada cesta, considerada bastante escassa de alimentos para um mês e muito cara.
Conforme mostra o contrato de nº 18/2020, os recursos são do Governo Federal aos municípios para ajudar no enfrentamento ao coronavírus, porém, além de não comprar no comércio local, ajudando o povo de Lagarto nesse momento de crise, Hilda ainda adquiriu uma cesta de alimentos que não dá para uma semana na mesa das famílias carentes.
Comparação – Os itens das cestas compradas por Hilda Ribeiro são apenas um pacote de açúcar, farinha, feijão, macarrão, óleo, café e leite em pó e dois pacotes de arroz e cuscuz. Já os itens (17) comprados pela Prefeitura de Itabaiana são dois pacotes de açúcar, dois de arroz, biscoito de sal, biscoito doce, dois pacotes de café, tempero em pó, farinha, quatro cuscuz, dois pacotes de feijão, goiabada, quatro pacotes de leite em pó, macarrão, margarina, óleo, sal, duas latas de sardinha e um vinagre.
Em pesquisa rápida de mercado é possível notar que os nove itens comprados na cesta básica da Prefeitura de Lagarto daria R$ 43 se comprado em um supermercado normal, no varejo, ou seja, mais barato do que a cesta comprada pela pela Prefeita Hilda Ribeiro, o que é um mistério, já que os produtos listados abaixo custam essa média abaixo, se tratando das melhores marcas.
