A Prefeita de Lagarto Hilda Ribeiro queria censurar uma matéria do Xexo Sergipano e acionou a Justiça para isso. No entanto ela foi derrotada e a juíza determinou que a matéria que fala sobre os ataques do grupo político da Prefeita contra um evento do MDB Mulher fosse mantida no ar.
A juíza considerou que a matéria não atacava em nenhum momento a honra da Prefeita, mas se tratava apenas de conteúdo jornalístico. Dessa forma o Xexo mantém a matéria e não será censurado pelo grupo político de Gustinho Ribeiro e Hilda Ribeiro.
