Na ultima quarta-feira, 27, Dia Nacional de Combate ao Câncer, a Assembleia Legislativa de Sergipe aprovou Projeto de Lei nº 75/2019, de autoria do deputado Talysson de Valmir. O projeto garante atendimento preferencial e imediato em estabelecimentos públicos e privados de pessoas em tratamento de quimioterapia, radioterapia, hemodiálise e em uso de bolsa de colostomia.
Talysson de Valmir diz que o projeto busca minimizar os inúmeros desafios que um paciente em tratamento de doenças a exemplo de um câncer, enfrenta diariamente na busca pela cura de sua enfermidade. “Vale frisar que o tratamento, administrado por meio de medicamentos ou procedimentos de alta complexidade, fragilizam o paciente para além de sua doença. Atividades ordinárias do dia a dia, como ir ao banco, enfrentar uma fila de supermercado ou pagar contas, tornam-se rotinas difíceis, que fragilizam ainda mais e impõe uma exclusão social, na medida em que, afasta-o das atividades comuns a todas as pessoas, impondo uma consequência à sua doença”, comenta o parlamentar.
Além da preferência no acesso a tratamentos e medicamentos, o PL aprovado também garante prioridade no transporte público e em vagas de estacionamentos, públicos ou privados. Hospitais e clínicas públicas ou privadas, por meio de suas equipes administrativas ou de profissionais da área médica, devem emitir documento que ateste o estado de saúde, mencione, ou especifique o diagnóstico ou tratamento a que está sendo submetido o paciente.
O projeto de lei agora segue para a sanção do governador Belivaldo Chagas.
