O ex-deputado federal Sérgio Reis fez um comparativo de uma realidade preocupante em Lagarto. Ele constatou que o município proporcionalmente é um dos que menos investe na compra de testes de Covid-19 para a população. Lagarto tem a maior população do interior, mas fica fez três vezes menos testes que Itabaiana, por exemplo.
Lagarto foi contemplado com R$ 11.134.905,13 do Programa Federativo de Enfrentamento ao Coronavírus, ou seja, valor maior que o de Itabaiana, R$ 10.177.099,38, e o de Estância, R$ 7.378.335,72, mas mesmo assim comprou menos testes que os dois municípios, apenas 3.313, menor que os 9.633 de Itabaiana, e 4.684 de Estância – dados coletados dos boletins entre os dias 8 e 11 de agosto.
“Essa gestão que está aí gasta dinheiro com tudo, aplicativo caríssimo, compra de rosas, feijão estragado, álcool em gel vencido. Só não gasta comprando testes que são fundamentais para salvar vidas nessa pandemia”, ressaltou Sérgio, que defendeu ainda mais ações da prefeitura de Lagarto, como fiscalização de aglomerações e apoio aos comerciantes durante a crise.
