ARACAJU/SE – Na manhã desta segunda-feira, 16, o Complexo de Operações Policiais Especiais da Polícia Civil (Cope) apresentou detalhes da operação que resultou na prisão dos cinco homens suspeitos de envolvimento com crimes de furto registrados em prédios de luxo de Aracaju.
A quadrilha efetuou furtos no dia 23 de novembro em três imóveis no bairro Treze de Julho e um no bairro Coroa do Meio. O grupo era composto por cinco integrantes residentes no estado de São Paulo/SE que utilizava um veículo para distrair o porteiro do condomínio e ter acesso à área interna dos apartamentos. Os homens entravam nos prédios e saíam com objetos de valor sem chamar a atenção.
“Com apoio da PM do Ceará conseguimos obter a informação que eles estariam retornando para o estado de Sergipe na sexta-feira,13. A partir dessa informação montamos uma operação e conseguimos localizar o veículo quando eles estavam transitando pela BR 101, na região do município de Itaporanga”, detalhou o delegado Dernival Eloi, diretor do Cope.
O grupo agia sem violência, aproveitando falhas de segurança dos condomínios. “Eles se passavam por moradores ou aproveitavam a entrada e saída para terem acesso aos prédios. Em seguida, tocavam as campainhas dos apartamentos. Quando as pessoas não atendiam eles arrombavam as portas e cofres procurando objetos de valor e dinheiro. A partir daí ocultavam em meias dos próprios moradores e escondiam pelo corpo de modo a sair sem serem percebidos pelos porteiros”, completou o delegado.
A prisão foi efetuada quando eles estavam próximos de chegar à cidade de Aracaju, mais precisamente no município de Itaporanga. Foi montada uma blitz para abordar os homens antes do acesso à capital. Não há sergipanos no grupo, todos são residentes do estado de São Paulo. Quatro dos cinco suspeitos têm passagem pela Polícia por roubos em São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, Pernambuco e Rio de Janeiro.
“Os cinco criminosos estão presos preventivamente e irão responder por furto qualificado e associação criminosa. As investigações agora estão voltadas para descobrir os receptores do material subtraído”, concluiu o delegado Dernival Eloi.
