No começo da madrugada desta quinta-feira, a Polícia Militar recebeu uma denúncia de que quatro homens armados em um carro modelo Celta de cor preta haviam invadido uma residência na rua Arício Guimarães Forte, no bairro Atalaia, Zona Sul de Aracaju (SE).
Uma guarnição foi deslocada ao local e foi recebida a tiros pelos bandidos. Os policias reagiram e três criminosos acabaram mortos. Todos foram encaminhados ao Hospital de Urgências de Sergipe (Huse). Um permanece internado, os corpos dos outros três já foram encaminhados ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML) e estão na unidade sem identificação.
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, os quatro criminosos já foram presos pelo menos seis vezes pela prática de assaltos na mesma região. Na ação desta quinta-feira, ainda segundo a PM, eles já vinham acompanhando a rotina do morador da casa que foi alvo e aproveitaram sua chegada para agirem.
