Um homem foi preso nesta quarta-feira, 26, sob a suspeita de manter a mulher isolada em cárcere privado por 15 anos.
Segundo a Polícia Civil do Rio de Janeiro, ela era mantida em um quarto, em condições insalubres e dopada. O caso ocorreu em em Nova Iguaçu, na Baixada Fluminense.
De acordo com a delegada Mônica Areal, da Deam (Delegacia de Atendimento à Mulher), o homem tem 54 anos, não apresentou advogado e não quis prestar depoimento.
“A vítima era mantida dopada, trancada em quarto. Quando os agentes chegaram ao local, encontraram vários remédios, sem validade. Ele também tinha controle financeiro sobre a vítima já que pegava uma pensão no banco que era dela e não repassava”, disse a delegada.
A investigação começou após a filha do casal, de 15 anos, passar por avaliação de uma psicóloga que detectou indícios de abuso sexual praticados pelo pai da jovem. Esse caso está sendo investigado por outra delegacia.
“Mas vamos apurar também se ele mantinha relações sexuais com a esposa, enquanto ela estava dopada. Se isso ocorreu também caracteriza estupro e ele será responsabilizado por mais esse crime”, disse a investigadora.
Ele também foi indiciado sob a suspeita de maus tratos a animais, já que na residência dois gatos e um cachorro foram encontrados debilitados. “Já reparamos que ocorrências de violência domésticas são muito ligadas a maus tratos a animais. Esse autor que é muito covarde e machuca a família como um todo, inclusive os animais. (…) Ela [a vítima] se libertou não de um marido, mas de um algoz”, afirmou Mônica.
A vítima foi encaminhada para atendimento psiquiátrico.
