Eleito presidente da República neste domingo (30) com 50,9% dos votos válidos, na disputa mais acirrada desde 1989, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) venceu seu adversário Jair Bolsonaro (PL) apenas no Nordeste.

Nordeste: 69,34% (Lula) x 30,66% (Bolsonaro)
Norte: 48,97% (Lula) x 51,03% (Bolsonaro)
Sul: 38,16% (Lula) x 61,84% (Bolsonaro)
Sudeste: 45,74% (Lula) x 54,26% (Bolsonaro)
Centro-Oeste: 39,79% (Lula) x 60,21% (Bolsonaro)
Historicamente, os candidatos à presidência do Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) triunfam no Nordeste com percentuais altos. Em 2018, por exemplo, Fernando Haddad obteve 69,7% dos votos válidos na região, contra 30,3% de Bolsonaro (eleito naquele ano).
A diferença mais acentuada ocorreu em 2006, quando Lula derrotou Geraldo Alckmin, à época do PSDB, com 77,1% dos votos válidos, versus 22,9%.
Região Sul: a mais bolsonarista
Em 2022, a região na qual Bolsonaro obteve seu melhor desempenho foi a Sul, com 61,84% dos votos válidos, em oposição aos 38,16% de Lula.
Comparando a 2018, no entanto, o candidato do PL caiu 6,46 pontos percentuais. Naquele ano, também no 2º turno, ele havia alcançado 68,30% contra Fernando Haddad (31,7%).
A última vez que o PT conseguiu ficar à frente no Sul foi em 2002, quando Lula atingiu 58,8% dos votos válidos na disputa com José Serra (PSDB).
Região Norte: a disputa mais acirrada
Das cinco regiões, a Norte foi a que registrou a disputa mais apertada neste 2º turno: Bolsonaro ficou à frente, mas por pouco, com 51,03% dos votos válidos, contra 48,97% de Lula.
Foi um “placar” semelhante ao de 2018, entre Haddad (48,1%) e o vencedor daquele ano, Bolsonaro (51,9%).
Região Sudeste: crescimento do PT, mas vitória de Bolsonaro
No Sudeste, o PT vinha em queda nas últimas eleições presidenciais: em 2006, Lula obteve 56,9% dos votos válidos; em 2010 e em 2014, Dilma Rousseff ficou com 51,9% e 43,8%, respectivamente; e em 2018, Haddad alcançou 34,6%.
Agora, Lula interrompeu a sequência de queda e, embora tenha ficado atrás de Bolsonaro, chegou a 45,74%.
Região Centro-Oeste: hegemonia de Bolsonaro
No Centro-Oeste, Bolsonaro venceu com folga: obteve 60,21% dos votos válidos neste 2º turno. Comparando a 2018, no entanto, ele registrou uma leve queda de 6,3 pontos percentuais.
Lula, agora com 39,79%, teve seu pior desempenho na região nos últimos 20 anos. Em 2002, contra Serra, ele havia atingido 57,3%, e em 2006, ao enfrentar Alckmin, 52,4%.
