A Prefeitura de Lagarto, através da Secretaria de Saúde segue investindo na capacitação profissional dos seus servidores, prezando pelo melhor atendimento e melhores serviços prestados à população. Nos dias 22 e 23 de novembro, foi realizada uma Capacitação no Manejo Clínico da Tuberculose para os profissionais de saúde do município no auditório da Faculdade Ages de Lagarto.
A capacitação teve como objetivo atualizar os profissionais da atenção primária, especializada e hospitalar quanto ao diagnóstico, tratamento e prevenção da doença, considerando a Tuberculose como um agravo de grande impacto e relevância para saúde pública, e que infelizmente ainda hoje acarreta um grande número de mortes na população.
O evento contou a facilitação da Coordenadora do Programa Estadual de Controle da Tuberculose da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde, Maria Heide Ribeiro Mesquita. Participaram da capacitação: médicos, enfermeiros, biomédicos e técnicos em análises clínicas da rede de atenção à saúde do município.
