Um projeto de lei que autoriza o Governo de Sergipe a promover medidas de desestatização da Sergipe Energias Renováveis e Gás S.A. (SERGAS) deve ser apresentado na Assembleia Legislativa para ser votado entre os parlamentares nesta quinta-feira, 29.
De acordo com o deputado estadual Georgeo Passos, o projeto foi apresentado pela primeira vez em 2019, mas acabou sendo “engavetado”. Em suas palavras, o contexto apresentado pelo Poder Executivo na época para justificar a desestatização é diferente do vivido hoje, de equilíbrio nas finanças, segundo o atual governador.
“Naquele momento seria necessário tomar medidas duras para equilibrar o estado, e entre elas, a venda da participação do Governo na Sergas, afinal de contas, ela tem três acionistas. Só que não pautaram, não sei o motivo, e agora no apagar das luzes vem para ser votado amanhã. Só que hoje nós temos um cenário diferente na economia do estado, o próprio governador não deixa de pontuar isso em suas entrevistas, que resolveu, que está deixando o estado com dinheiro em caixa”, disse ele.
Segundo o deputado, a potencialidade do gás para transformar financeiramente e gerar lucro para Sergipe é grande, e por isso, ele questiona o motivo de solicitar a possibilidade de venda da participação do estado sobre a Sergas.
“Estou tentando entender o que é que tem nesse projeto para pedir essa autorização, no mínimo poderia ficar para o próximo governador avaliar e até atualizar a própria mensagem trazendo dados atuais”, solicitou ainda.

O GOVERNADOR DO ESTADO DE SERGIPE,
Faço saber que a Assembleia Legislativa do Estado aprovou e que eu sanciono a seguinte Lei:
Art. 1° Fica o Poder Executivo do Estado de Sergipe autorizado a alienar ou transferir, total ou parcialmente, a sociedade, os seus ativos, a participação societária, direta ou indireta, inclusive o controle acionário, transformar, fundir, cindir, incorporar, extinguir, dissolver ou desativar, parcial ou totalmente, seus empreendimentos e subsidiárias, assim como alienar ou transferir as participações minoritárias diretas e indiretas no capital social da Sergipe Energias Renováveis e Gás S.A. – SERGAS, sociedade de economia mista criada pela Lei n.° 3.305, de 28 de janeiro de 1993.
§1° Considera-se desestatização, para efeitos desta Lei, a alienação, pelo Estado, de direitos que lhe assegurem preponderância nas deliberações sociais e o poder de eleger a maioria dos administradores da sociedade, bem assim a alienação das participações minoritárias diretas e indiretas do Estado, no capital social da Sergipe Energias Renováveis e Gás S.A. – SERGAS.
