O deputado federal Gustinho Ribeiro destinou uma emenda de R$ 5 milhões para o Governo de Sergipe investir no Programa Prato do Povo, uma iniciativa que alia geração de emprego com o combate a fome no estado.
Segundo o parlamentar, somente nesta fase inicial, o programa vai distribuir 75 mil refeições gratuitamente para pessoas carentes, de segunda a sexta, em 18 municípios sergipanos. “E o melhor: os pequenos empreendedores e produtores da agricultura familiar serão estimulados a produzir e fornecer esses alimentos”, destacou o deputado.
E completou: “Combate à fome com desenvolvimento e justiça social é assim que se faz”.
