A sergipana mais alta do Brasil está precisando de ajuda. Acamada, Maria Feliciana, 73 anos, sofre de osteoporose, está com trombose e tem úlceras nos dois pés devido à permanência na cama. Agora, a família está buscando auxílio para construir um quarto adaptado no fundo da casa.
“Minha mãe ficava na sala, onde dormia e ficava o dia todo, mas depois que a situação dela se agravou tivemos que colocar ela aqui no quarto do meu irmão, o que não é ideal, pois não é adaptado e meu irmão também tem problema de saúde e não dá para ficar dois doentes em um local só”, explica Chirles Santos.
Chirles conta ainda que devido ao quadro de osteoporose de Feliciana ela precisa realizar um tratamento de seis meses. “É um tratamento prolongado e a estrutura que ela está vivendo não é adequada ao serviço de home-care que ela recebe aqui em casa. Tudo que conseguimos até agora para construir esse quarto foi por doações, conseguimos também pedreiros que não vão cobrar e ganhamos a madeira, mas ainda falta o telhado, pia, vaso sanitário, chuveiro, piso etc., pois o local precisa ser adequado ao tamanho e ao tratamento dela”, informou.
Além do problema da doença e necessitar de ajuda para comprar remédios e produtos de higiene, ela agora precisa de um quarto porque está na sala da casa e sem privacidade. “Além dos materiais para construção do quarto, ela precisa de medicamentos, hidratante, sabonete líquido, fraldas, lenços umedecidos. Mãe também está precisando de alimentos como leite integral, Mucilon, Cremogema, frutas, suplementos proteicos, pois a nutricionista veio aqui e disse que ela está muito abaixo do peso.
Ainda segundo Chirles, é muito triste ver a mãe passar por essa situação e não ter amparo nem do Município nem do Estado. “Minha mãe levou o nome de Sergipe para todo o país e agora que não é mais famosa, que não anda, que está acamada, não tem apoio nem da Prefeitura e nem do Estado. Hoje ela vive apenas com um benefício de R$ 1.200, mas nessa situação o dinheiro não dá para nada”, lamentou.
