Da Silva, ex-jogador do Confiança, foi assassinado na noite desta quinta-feira, 29, no distrito de Izacolândia, zona rural de Petrolina-PE.
De acordo com informações, o ex-jogador estava em um bar, na Avenida José Silvestre, quando foi alvejado a tiros, evoluindo a óbito no local do crime. Um outro homem que estava com ele no momento também foi baleado e ficou ferido. Ele foi socorrido, mas seu estado de saúde é desconhecido.
Ainda segundo relatos, o crime teria sido cometido por um elemento que chegou em uma moto, e após efetuar os disparos fugiu com destino ignorado. A Polícia Militar e o IML (Instituto Médico Legal) foram acionados para atender a ocorrência. O caso deve ser investigado pela Polícia Civil.
Enquanto jogador, Da Silva teve passagem por diversos clubes do nordeste, como o Sport, Bahia, Juazeirense, Itabaiana e Confiança. Em 2008, teve a sua primeira passagem pelo Confiança, sendo destaque no time e na campanha “Vamos Subir Dragão”. Da Silva vestiu a camisa proletária em cinco temporadas e fez história no clube.
Em nota, a Associação Desportiva Confiança lamentou o falecimento do ex-atacante.
