Na manhã desta da última quinta-feira, 30, policiais militares do 7° Batalhão, durante uma operação com escopo de desarticular uma quadrilha de assaltos e tráfico de drogas, aprenderam um adolescente por tráfico no povoado Jenipapo.
De acordo com a polícia, o adolescente apreendido já tinha sido preso acerca de 10 dias por roubo de moto.
Um segundo cidadão, de alta periculosidade, reagiu, disparando cerca de duas vezes contra a polícia, sendo alvejado em seguida. Conduzido ao hospital, o mesmo não resistiu e evoluiu a óbito.
Na residência do cidadão morto em confronto foram apreendidos 13 pinos de cocaína e um cigarro de maconha.
Segundo a PM, ‘a quadrilha do cidadão que veio a óbito aterroriza os moradores do povoado Jenipapo há muito tempo, razão pela qual a Polícia Militar recebeu inúmeras congratulações de populares’.
