Um jogador de futebol, de apenas 20 anos, foi morto a tiros em uma campo de futebol, no bairro George Américo, na cidade de Feira de Santana, localizada a cerca de 100 km da capital baiana. O crime aconteceu no início da tarde deste domingo (03).
Segundo informações de testemunhas, o rapaz, identificado como Edson Igor Silva Oliveira, estaria aguardando para entrar na partida quando foi surpreendido por suspeitos armados. Pessoas próximas informaram a polícia civil que ele seria jogador da equipe sub 23 do Fluminense de Feira.
Testemunhas ouvidas pelo Bnews levantam a hipótese de uma execução por disputas de território entre facções criminosas, tendo em vista que o bairro que o jovem residia, o Asa Branca, é rival da localidade em que ele estava no momento do crime.
Edson, atualmente, estava emprestado para a Seleção de Feira, inclusive, ele deveria estar concentrado neste domingo, por conta de uma partida que aconteceria contra o time Santa Barbara, no estádio Joia da Princesa.
A delegada Danielle Mathias, responsável pelas investigações, foi ao endereço assim que tomou conhecimento da ocorrência. A vítima veio a óbito no local, em decorrência de lesões causada por diversos disparos de arma de fogo nas regiões da cabeça, perna direita e esquerda, tórax, abdômen, pescoço e outros locais.
“A gente percebe que ele era o alvo, porque tinha outras pessoas aqui no momento da ação. Vamos investigar”, afirmou a delegada. A cena do crime ficou preservada para perícia e, posteriormente, o cadáver foi removido por equipes da Polícia Civil.
