Em entrevista concedida na rádio Mega FM, na manhã desta quarta-feira, 29, o reconhecido líder político de Nossa Senhora das Dores, o médico Dr. Gilberto Santos (PT), anunciou que não apoiará a pré-candidatura a prefeito do seu filho e ex-prefeito do município, Dr. Thiago.
Visivelmente triste e emocionado, Gilberto fez revelações das razões que teriam o obrigado a tomar essa difícil decisão.
Segundo ele, nos últimos dias, vinha trabalhando a possibilidade de fechar um entendimento eleitoral com o seu filho, mesmo com distancia política que este tomou da sua família quando se aliou a adversários e rompeu com o grupo de esquerda que Gilberto sempre fez parte.
Mesmo ciente que Dr. Thiago foi prefeito de Dores no passado através do seu prestígio e, em seguida, virando às costas para o seu genitor e demais líderes estaduais que Gilberto sempre seguiu, o seu pai humildemente tentou reativar os antigos laços políticos, em nome da manutenção da boa relação familiar.
Para isso, Dr Gilberto ainda tentou convencer a sua filha, Dra Thamires, que também pleiteia uma pré-candidatura a prefeitura da mesma cidade. Porém, mesmo tendo conseguido um gesto nobre dela, não teria encontrado uma boa recepção da parte do ex-prefeito Thiago. Inclusive, ao receber essa proposta, ele teria deixado claro que o seu agrupamento não teria interesse na parceria, deixando transparecer que pela opinião do ex-prefeito também não haveria espaço para um entendimento político com seus familiares.
Triste e perplexo, mas não desanimado, Dr. Gilberto ressaltou que não tem medo de morrer em combate e que continuará a ser um soldado combatente do projeto popular que sempre defendeu.
O veterano líder político Dorense, em sua fala se auto questionou: “aonde foi que eu errei?” Recordando-se da sua luta incansável para formar pessoalmente e profissionalmente todos os seus filhos.
Mesmo assim, ele garante manter-se de pé, caminhando pelas ruas de Nossa Senhora das Dores, ao lado de Dra. Thamires, de cabeça erguida e dialogando com a população e, também, com as lideranças políticas locais que tenham o mesmo objetivo de lutar por um projeto transformador para o seu município.
