Prefeitura de Lagarto discute projetos para requalificação e valorização do Balneário Bica com Sebrae e Instituto Santuário da Mata

O Balneário Bica recebeu, na última quarta-feira, 21, uma visita técnica que reuniu representantes da Prefeitura de Lagarto, do Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas em Sergipe (Sebrae/SE) e do Instituto Santuário da Mata, com o objetivo de verificar e estudar a vegetação existente no espaço, além de discutir projetos voltados à valorização do local como equipamento social e atrativo turístico. A ação também visa a integração do turismo, da preservação ambiental e do desenvolvimento econômico do município.

A parceria tem como foco o diagnóstico ambiental da área, a identificação de espécies nativas e a construção de propostas que ampliem o uso consciente do Balneário, atraindo a população local, bem como visitantes e turistas. A visita técnica também marcou mais um passo no planejamento integrado da gestão municipal, que busca transformar o Balneário Bica em referência de lazer, preservação ambiental e turismo sustentável, enfatizando ainda mais a identidade de Lagarto como um município que pensa o desenvolvimento de forma responsável e inclusiva.

O secretário Municipal de Turismo (Semtur), Wédson Andrade, enfatizou a importância do espaço de lazer tanto para os lagartenses quanto para quem visita a cidade. “O Balneário Bica cumpre um papel social fundamental, sendo área de convivência e práticas esportivas, e também representa um atrativo a mais para os visitantes. A reestruturação daquele equipamento é um dos grandes compromissos do prefeito Sérgio Reis, para que possamos entregá-lo, o quanto antes, totalmente requalificado à população”, pontuou.

Por sua vez, o presidente do Instituto Santuário da Mata, Tito Garcez, que esteve no local acompanhado da fundadora da instituição, Marta Garcez, explicou que a visita teve caráter técnico e estratégico. “Fomos convidados pela Prefeitura e pelo Sebrae para conhecer o Balneário Bica e avaliar os potenciais para o ecoturismo e a educação ambiental em uma área urbana. Esse espaço funciona como um portal de entrada para Lagarto e um convite para que turistas e visitantes conheçam os demais atrativos turísticos do município”, afirmou.

Para a consultora do Sebrae/SE, Adriana Sobral, a iniciativa evidencia a força do trabalho conjunto entre as instituições. “O Sebrae acredita no desenvolvimento a partir do território. Essa parceria com a Prefeitura de Lagarto e com o Instituto Santuário da Mata busca entender as potencialidades do Balneário da Bica, que é uma porta de entrada do município, unindo turismo, educação ambiental, conservação e oportunidades de desenvolvimento econômico. A gente tem aqui espécies nativas. Então, eu vejo que este espaço é muito importante para Lagarto, seja no âmbito da cultura, do artesanato, entre tantas outras coias”, destacou.

Adriana também explicou que “a ideia é, a partir dessa visita, construir um projeto que venha a atender a Secretaria de Educação, do Meio Ambiente, de Turismo, para que a gente promova às crianças, por exemplo, a consciência sobre os cuidados que devem ter. E a gente trabalhando esse público, a chance desse projeto ser um sucesso é muito maior. Sem contar com o pertencimento da população que passará a cuidar do Balneário. Eu não tenho dúvidas de que, diante de todo o trabalho que vem sendo realizado nesta cidade, assim que o diagnóstico ficar pronto e o projeto for apresentado, a gestão municipal vai abraçar”, pontuou.
