Uma denúncia sobre suposto superfaturamento na compra de máscaras pela Prefeitura de Lagarto que chegou ao Ministério Público já foi encaminhada à Promotoria do Juizado Especial Cível e Criminal para as devidas apurações.
De acordo com o documento da 1ª Promotoria de Justiça da Comarca de Lagarto, a denúncia foi destinada à Curadoria da Saúde do MP porque a suposta irregularidade cometida pela prefeitura faz parte das ações de combate à Covid-19.
Segundo as informações consultadas no procedimento aberto no Ministério Público, a prefeita Hilda Ribeiro assinou uma dispensa de licitação para a aquisição (com uma empresa da capital) de 22 mil máscaras ao preço de R$ 4,50 cada uma delas, sendo que prefeituras como Aracaju e Itabaiana, por exemplo, adquiriram o mesmo tipo de mercadoria ao valor de R$ 1,80 e R$ 2,50, respectivamente.
